About

This is a northeast region dual hosted by Brighton at Brighton High School. It is a dual format and we hope to take two K-8 teams provided there is enough interest. This is an excellent opportunity to see the dual-format in action. Competition will take place at 10:00AM on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Warm ups begin at 9AM and mat audits/skin checks begin at 9:30AM. Click here for the details provided by Brighton.

Wrestle offs

We plan to take the gold and blue teams from the Duals at the Den for the K-8 division. There may be some opportunities to wrestle at the K-8 if any wrestler relinquishes their spot. If you are interested in a spot on either of the teams, please let Joe Berden know. All wrestlers must weigh in Monday or Thursday at practice.

Volunteer Opportunities

We will do a snack table (assignments in Team Snap) for all of the athletes. Please sign up on Team Snap. We will have access to power outlets for crock pots, if needed.

Fees

This tournament is club-sponsored. No fees to be collected to wrestle; however, admission is $10 per family, or $5 per individual. Children 6 and under are $3.

Singlet

If your athlete makes one of the teams, please make sure they wear a Clarkston singlet. If you do not have one, please connect with Coach Joe to purchase/rent one. Headgear is not required, but highly recommended. Wrestlers with braces must wear a mouth guard.
