Kick Off

About

We are canceling Wednesday practices and inviting ALL LEVELS to our club kick off event in the Clarkston High School Gym. No matter what your experience or skill level, we encourage your wrestler and family to attend. In addition to doing club/individual photos, we will have 3 mats and plan to have every wrestler get to do a “match.” So whether you plan to compete or not, this is a great way to understand how scoring works. It’s also a great way to meet other families.

Please note that this event is unrelated to weekend tournaments or club duals (sparty, duals at the den, etc.). Therefore, every wrestler in the clarkston wrestling club is encouraged to attend with their families.

Photos

Team photo to be taken promptly at 6PM in the Clarkston High School Gym by Life Touch. Everyone should wear singlets (individual) and/or the club t-shirts (group). Shirts will be distributed on Monday, December 18, 2023 and Tuesday, December 19, 2023 to all wrestlers that are registered with Clarkston Community Ed (if you are not, this needs to happen if you intend to continue wrestling this season). If you were unable to get a shirt, please make arrangements to arrive early to prevent the photo from being delayed. If you wish to have individual photos taken, the photographer will be pulling out kids individually. Singlets will be available to borrow if you don’t not have one.

IntersquaD Duals

Matches will begin 6:15PM and we want all athletes to be able to have one match with a suitable partner. Therefore, it is essential that you RSVP to the event in TeamSnap (be sure to do this for each wrestler if you have more than one in the club) so that we know who will be available. A few matches will be wrestle offs for our Sparty teams, so you’ll get a chance to see how that works. Our high school wrestlers will be the referees and coaches in the corner.

If you are having trouble with RSVPing for multiple wrestlers, click the downward arrow in team snap and it should come up with all of your wrestlers.
